To be able to provide such insurance at no cost to buyers we had to accept a condition from our insurers that we allow 2 months for delivery before making a claim.
This is to cover any mistakes by the Australia Post where orders are accidentally shipped by sea mail instead of the paid for parcel airmail service
It also allows sufficient time for undelivered international parcels to be returned
Regretfully there is no free insurance on orders placed within Australia, but insurance can be purchased at the rate of $2.70 for cover up to $100
